Pets

Best first pet!

the best first pet recommended is,

well it really depends on your age. You see pets are fantastic, but they take a lot looking after. So I decided to go and see what some other people thought.

Cat's brother:

"Probably, a fish."

Cat's mum:

"I would say, maybe a hamster or a small rodent."

Cat's Granny:

" A Budgie or a gold fish"

Cat's Grandad:

"It really depends on where you live, if you live in somewhere like we do (smaller house) and smaller garden,
you could have a dog or a cat. But if you live in an apartment you could probably get tropical fish or something small like that. Last but not least, if you live on a farm, you could get something larger like a pony or some chickens."

Cat's advice:

"I think a good first pet would be a cat or some fish. But if you are looking for something more adventure-like,
you could get a snake. I would say a Corn Snake there're beautiful and won't bite you allot, I know lots of people that have said there bite does not hurt, and occasionally you don't even feel it! They only need fed once or twice a week and are pretty much a good pet to have starting age six (6) or five (5)"

looking after

Pets like dogs take a lot of looking after.

unlike hermit crabs, there much easier to look after,
here's how to care for them in 5 simple steps:

stage 1: give them hermit crab food every two or three days.

stage 2: top off their water.

stage 3: and mist their cage to keep it humid.

stage 4:Also make sure there is some sea sponge, because they like to eat that, too.

stage 5: Fill their tank with sand and wood chips, pebbles will also work, and make sure it is quite deep because they like to dig down.

Remember you have to be prepared to take on a pet. There

like you, they need fed, given water, cleaned(some pets may

clean them self ), some may need there cages

cleaned, and if you've got a pet dog or cat, you will have to

take it for a walk.

Remember if you have got a

pet like a dog you will have to

take it for a walk. How many

times a week?

Well it really depends on the

kind

and the size of dog if you've got a big one, it will need

more walks that a little one. So if your looking for a dog, be

sure to get one suitable for you and your family.

pets you can't have!

you can't keep wild animals for e.g you can't keep bat's as

your pet's. What you can do is you can adopt animals that

you are not allowed

to keep as pet's. Like I adopted a bat.
